Welcome
Stoberry Park School is a large primary school nestled at the foot of the Mendip Hills in the beautiful city of Wells. We have 300 pupils on the roll who are split into nine mixed age classes and two early years classes. Our building comprises of a welcoming reception area, large hall, library and computing suite, two additional educational needs support rooms and administrative offices. We are also very fortunate to provide space on our school site for a thriving breakfast club, an after-school club and a pre-school setting.
We also have extensive grounds which lend themselves to a wide range of outdoor activities.
We are very proud of our school uniform and the children, parents, staff and governors all have a strong part to play in our community.
Stoberry Park School has built a reputation for supporting the well-being and personal development of its pupils. The curriculum is rich and varied and offers a wide range of experiences for the children, focused on termly 'Quests', regularly supported by visits outside school and visitors in to the classrooms, as well as a wide range of experiences provided within school. Our aim is to ignite a passion for learning in every pupil and set them on the road to becoming a life-long learner.
We aim to develop independence in our pupils and offer them opportunities such as residential visits to Condover and London, along with outdoor and adventurous activities together with a range of clubs and sporting activities. The school is fortunate to benefit from being positioned in some of the most beautiful grounds which lend themselves to outdoor play and learning; this aspect of our school will be developed over the coming years as we are about to embark on the OPAL play project.
We warmly welcome visitors to the school and hope that if you are considering Stoberry Park School as the school for your child you will come and visit us to experience what we believe to be a very special and unique ethos and working environment. Appointments to see the school can be made by contacting the school on 01749 672516 or via the contact email on the school website.
