I have lived in Wells for over 10 years and am father of 2 children who both attend Stoberry Park School. For almost 20 years, I have run my own IT and technical consultancy, focusing on emerging technologies and R&D in areas such as smarter transport.  I am fortunate enough to have the flexibility to work from home in the wonderful city of Wells and have always been keen to find new challenges I can undertake in my spare time when I’m not playing piano for the various Jazz and Blues bands I regularly perform with in the area!

 

I became a Governor/Advocate approximately 4 years ago as I wanted to become more involved in my local community in a role in which I could apply the skills I have developed through running my own business. So far, I have found the role both challenging and extremely rewarding and I love being part of the fantastic community at Stoberry and seeing the real difference it makes to the children that attend.
